This versatile filter is fully submersible for use in both aquariums and aquatic terrariums. It has a three-stage internal filtration process. The first stage uses a dense foam to remove particles and debris. The second stage utilizes activated carbon to remove toxins, odors and discoloration–and the third stage removes ammonia and nitrates. Bonus! This filter also comes preloaded with replaceable cartridges.
